Game Rules
BigShot Shootout
A fast-paced elimination shooting game where consistency wins. Miss once, and you’re out for the round.
What You Need
• 1 BigShot hoop clipped onto a bottle
• 2 mini foam basketballs
• 2 or more players
• A flat surface (table, bench, or floor)
Setup
1. Clip BigShot onto a bottle and place it at an equal distance from all players.
2. Players stand around the shooting area in a circle.
3. The oldest player and the player to their left each start with a ball.
4. The oldest player (or the previous round’s winner) shoots first.
How to Play
1. The first player shoots at the BigShot hoop.
2. After the first shot, play continues clockwise with each player taking one shot.
3. Any player who misses their shot is out for that round.
4. Any player who makes their shot stays in.
5. Continue until only one player remains — they win the round.
6. If everyone makes or everyone misses their shot, replay the round.
7. The first player to win 3 rounds is crowned the BigShot.
Knock Out
A fast-paced elimination game where you must score before the player behind you or you’re out.
What You Need
• 1 BigShot hoop clipped onto a bottle
• 2 mini foam basketballs
• 3 or more players
• A flat surface (table, bench, or floor)
Setup
1. Clip Bigshot onto a bottle
2. Mark a shooting line 1–2 metres away from the hoop.
3. Players line up single-file behind the shooting line.
4. The first two players in line each get a ball.
How to Play
1. Player 1 shoots first at the BigShot hoop.
2. As soon as Player 1 releases their shot, Player 2 can shoot.
3. If Player 1 misses, they must chase their ball, return to the shooting line, and keep shooting until they score.
4. If Player 2 scores before Player 1, Player 1 is knocked out.
5. If Player 1 scores, they retrieve their ball, pass it to the next player in line, and move to the back of the line.
6. Player 2 continues shooting until they score.
7. If the next player in line (Player 3) scores before Player 2, Player 2 is knocked out.
8. This same pattern continues for all players. Any player who misses must score before the player behind them does, or they’re out.
9. Play continues until only one player remains who is the winner
BigShot In the Pot
A pressure-filled shooting game where made shots build the pot, and one miss can cost you everything.
What You Need
• 1 BigShot hoop clipped onto a bottle
• 1 mini foam basketball
• 2 or more players
• A flat surface (table, bench, or floor)
Setup
1. Clip BigShot onto a bottle and place it in the centre of the playing area.
2. Choose a shooting spot that is an equal distance for all players.
3. Before starting, agree on a pot limit: 5 or 7 points.
How to Play
1. Players take turns shooting one at a time.
2. Every made shot adds 1 point to the pot.
3. If multiple players score in a row, the pot continues to grow.
4. If a player misses, they must take all points currently in the pot and add them to their personal score.
5. After a miss, the pot resets back to zero.
6. Play continues with the next player.
Getting Out
• If a player reaches the agreed limit (5 or 7 points), they are out
• Remaining players continue playing
• The last player remaining wins
Full Court
A team-based BigShot game is played in rounds like a real match. Quarters, points, and clutch shots decide the winner.
What You Need
• 2 BigShot hoop (1 per team clipped onto a bottle)
• 2 BigShot balls
• 1 or more players per team
• A table or flat surface
• Optional: phone or paper to track score
Setup
1. Split players into two even teams (1v1, 2v2, or more).
2. Clip one BigShot hoop onto a bottle.
3. Place the bottles opposite each other on the table(or other flat surface) at an equal distance.
4. Decide who starts using Shoot-to-Start: (one player takes a shot. If they make it, their team starts. If they miss, the other team starts)
How to Play
1. The game is played in rounds, called quarters.
2. Each player takes 2 shots per quarter.
3. Teams alternate shots throughout the quarter.
4. Every made shot counts as 1 point; keep a running total for the quarter.
5. If a player makes both of their shots, they unlock a BIGSHOT (one bonus shot).
6. If the BIGSHOT is made, that team wins the quarter instantly.
Scoring
• After all players have shot, the team with more made shots wins the quarter.
• Winning a quarter earns 1 game point.
• First team to reach 3 points wins the game.
• Instant Win Rule: If a team wins 3 quarters in a row, the game ends immediately.
Tie-Breaker (2–2)
• Each team selects one shooter.
• Shooters alternate, taking one shot each.
• The first player to score while the other misses wins the game for their team
